Dongbaek Saint Luca Hospital(동백성루카병원)
We operate an independent facility-based palliative care specialized institution under the Catholic Suwon Diocese. We opened in May 2020 and provide outpatient, inpatient (with 40 beds), and home-based hospice care. All our staff members are dedicated to accompanying and caring for patients and their families facing the end of life's journey, based on the dignity of life and the spirit of 'unbiased love' as exemplified by the 'Good Samaritan,' in accordance with the teachings of Christ.
Catholic Kwandong University International St. Mary’s Hospital(가톨릭관동대학교 국제성모병원)
St. Mary's Hospice Center first opened its doors in May of 2014. Today, the hospice ward homes 29 beds, making it the largest amongst university hospitals in Korea. The Hospital currently provides inpatient, home, advisory, and palliative care services. The organization's key goals are to help protect the dignity of human life, to improve one's quality of life, and provide a dignified ending for those passing on. St. Mary's aims to take care of everyone who enters, with the love of Christ.
Jeon Jin Sang Palliative Care Center(전진상의원)
The “Jeon Jin Sang” Palliative Care Center, created in 1998 by the “Association Fraternelle Internationale” (AFI), was recognized by the Korean Ministry of Health in December 2008. It accommodates patients suffering from cancer at the end of life.

Saemmul Hospice Hospital(샘물호스피스)
Saemmul Hospice Hospital provides physical, psychological, social and spiritual care and support to terminally ill patients and their families, affected by medical, personal, interpersonal, and financial problems.
Currently about 190 employees at Saemmul Hospice Hospital, comprised of an interdisciplinary team of hospice professionals including physicians, nurses, social workers, hospice aides, and pastors, work collaboratively to allow patients in the last stages of life and their families to live each day to the fullest.
Saemmul Hospice Hospital operates 75 beds in an independent hospitalization type, of which 60 beds are for terminal cancer patients and the other 15 beds for patients with other terminal illness.
Since its establishment Saemmul Hospice has served 14,383 patients, cared for 12,805 patients at their deathbeds and celebrated 3,842 baptisms(1993.11.23-2023.6.30).
The Catholic University of Korea Incheon St. Mary's Hospital Hospice Palliative Care Center(인천성모병원)
The Catholic University of Korea Incheon St. Mary's Hospital Hospice Palliative Care Center started in 1986, realizing the Catholic ideology of interspersed hospice activities for the first time in the Incheon area. Maria Ward was opened on November 27, 2013 and is currently operating 17 beds.

Hospice Palliative Care Center & Research Institute for Hospice/Palliative Care(가톨릭대학교 서울성모병원 호스피스완화의료센터 & 호스피스연구소)
Introducing two institutions working for hospice and palliative care at the Catholic Medical Center;
First, the Research Institute for Hospice/Palliative Care(RIHPC), the Catholic University of Korea, is a World Health Organization Collaborating Centre for Training in Hospice and Palliative Care. It is the only collaborating center specializing in hospice and palliative care in the Western Pacific and East Asia region. Through collaboration with domestic and international networks, the RIHPC carries out various roles operating international training programs about hospice and palliative care, conducting clinical and policy research, providing international consultations, and so on.
Second, the hospice palliative care center at the Seoul St. Mary's Hospital, the Catholic University of Korea, has a long history of starting an inpatient hospice service for the first time in South Korea. It is also the only hospital operating a comprehensive hospice and palliative care system for inpatient, home-based and consultation-based services, and both adult and pediatric services.
This visitation program to our RIHPC and Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital aims to provide an opportunity for you to experience two of the famous hospice and palliative care organizations in South Korea; and for us to establish networks and sustainable collaborative relationships with you all, national and international experts in hospice and palliative care.
The Catholic University of Korea, St. Vincent`s Hospital(가톨릭대학교 성빈센트병원)
The Department of Hospice and Palliative Medicine at St. Vincent's Hospital aims to provide holistic care ranging from physical, psychological, social, and spiritual care to support bereaved families. To this end, a Catholic hospice palliative medicine team was established, consisting of doctors, nurses, social workers, priests, volunteers, nutritionists, pharmacists, and therapists. We are doing our best to help terminally ill patients die with dignity through multidisciplinary care with specialists in hemato-oncology, internal medicine, and surgery as well as family medicine.
The Hospice Center of National Health Insurance Service Ilsan Hospital(국민건강보험공단 일산병원)
The Hospice Center of National Health Insurance Service Ilsan Hospital started caring for terminal cancer patients in January 2006, and expanded the number of beds to 20 in 2015. In line with the hospital's philosophy to lead the right medical standard as a model health insurance hospital, home-type and advisory-type hospices are currently operating together through pilot projects. Our hospice center is taking care of patients with the dedication and passion of its members, but in terms of facilities, there are only basic facilities.
